The rumor mill is brewing once again. According to The Daily Telegraph, Eminem has a crush on singer Rihanna.

The rapper’s grandmother Betty Kresin thinks they would make a great couple.

She told Heat magazine: “I can totally see what any girl including Rihanna would see in him. He’s so charming; he has always had adorable, beautiful blue eyes and this charming, wonderful smile. Rihanna would make a suitable partner for Marshall. But he needs to enjoy life and not get carried away with any relationships at the moment.”

Rihanna and Eminem are reportedly in constant communication, but for the “Umbrella” singer – who is dating baseball star Matt Kemp – their relationship is purely platonic.

A source said: “Marshall would date Rihanna in a heartbeat if she showed even the slightest interest. They’re on the phone and texting each other constantly.”

Rihanna recently admitted she felt ‘connected’ to the lyrical references to domestic abuse in “Love The Way You Lie” [watch video here].

She said: “It’s something that, you know, we’ve both experienced on different sides, different ends of the table. Eminem pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it’s something that people don’t have a lot of insight on. I knew if he sent me a record there must be something to it. It couldn’t just be, ‘Oh, duh! She was in that relationship so we have to get her.’ The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense. It’s something that I understood, something I connected with.”

Eminem will join the likes of Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Bono and Barbra Streisand as two of the 100-plus stars tapped to record the remake of “We Are The World” to benefit Haiti.

UPDATE: Eminem will not take part in the remake of the 1985 hit single “We Are The World” for Haiti. The record is set to to be released today, February 12. It will take place during NBC’s coverage of the opening ceremony during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics at 7:30 PM EST.

50 Cent recently talked about how he admires United Kingdom reality tv, and now hit singer, Susan Boyle. The G-Unit leader says he admires Boyle so much that he thinks he might even start a beef with her! During an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show’ with Craig Ferguson, Fifty joked about his past fueds with Fat Joe.

Nobody really knows him. I’m mad that you’re mentioning his name. When’s the last time Fat Joe was on your show? [Never], SEE! And this is why I feel like, he’s using me, he’s using me, Craig. I feel like I’m on his [radar]. There’s almost as much pirated music as there is legitimate music out there. We got really tough competition, now the competition is Susan Boyle. It’s worth a shot [starting a feud with her.] We’ll be places and they’ll be like, ‘You know 50? He’s looking for you.’ I probably would [collaborate] with her. I think it’s the age, when you’re like 48, 50 years-old, those people in that age group are still conditioned to purchase a CD. The younger kids are on a computer, you know that.

According to Shady Records‘ producer Rikanatti, there’s a new collabo track coming which features hip hop heavyweights Eminem, 50 Cent, Cashis, Jay-Z and even Stat Quo. The track is apparently called “Happy Birthday” and is featured on Cashis‘ debut album The Art Of Dying.

“I just heard a Cashis song with Em, Jay-Z, 50 and Stat. Shit is crazy. It’s gonna be on Cashis’ album. It’s called ‘Happy Birthday’.”

Beanie Sigel

According to the latest buzz all over the internet and Twitter, during an interview on Philadelphia’s Power 99 radio station, 50 Cent announced that Beanie Sigel will soon be signing with his G-Unit record label.

“It’s B. Sig in the place with Young Free and I got what it takes to rock the mic right still watch what you say out your mouth ’cause 50 shots still will turn the club out” -Beanie Sigel

In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Sigel continued to talk about his issues with Jay-Z, stating how Jay wouldn’t let him off the label so that he could join G-Unit a few years back.

Fifty confirmed Sigels statements saying: “Beans was the better artist out of the actual crew, the stronger artist. That’s why when he did the year and a day, I was like “as soon as he comes home, I’m bringing that project over here.” He would of got at least $800,000. Jay-Z was telling him he didn’t want to lose him.”

So far it’s just a rumor, but DJ Butter posted the following on his Twitter page:

“chillin chillin. Just heard Eminem signed Royce (Congrats). Detroit need the unity back R.I.P. to all Detroit’s Rap Pioneers”

If this is true, that’s awesome news. It would be great to hear a new “Bad Meets Evil” track. Hopefully this will be confirmed soon.

Slaughterhouse

There’s a rumor going around that Eminem and Slaughterhouse have been talking about joining forces.

And you can see the whole Slaughterhouse crew in Drake‘s new video for “Forever.” They are all standing behind Eminem in all of his scenes. That doesn’t prove that they will sign to Shady Records though. But something is probably going to happen. A collaboration track maybe? Why else would they appear in a video that they have nothing to do with…?

If you don’t know who Slaughterhouse is, it’s a rap group that consists of rappers Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9, Joell Ortiz and Crooked I.

A music video which will serve as a promotional project for Drake‘s new single “Forever” has been made available for peek through two on-set pictures. Coming out via a Twitter page of a fan, the snaps show a grand set-up of a club.

In companion to the arrival of the photos, it is revealed that one of Drake‘s collaborators in the song, Lil Wayne, will make a cameo in this video project. As for other featured guests, Eminem and Kanye West, both of them are not spotted in the set. It looks like they’re not taking part in the video.  The video directed by Hype Williams is yet to have any premiere date.
