Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago,
Cashis found his true calling in life as a rapper after he was forcefully relocated to Orange County. It was a life altering situation by leaving the Windy City for Southern California at the age of 16. Immediately, having a baby girl Miana on the way, with his teenage bride Monique, and frequent police trouble and gang profiling.
Ca$his found himself back where he came from, Chicago, at his beloved older brother's (Rob) funeral. And again months later at his Grandma Cora's funeral.
Ca$his was faced with the decision of following in family footsteps and abandoning his young family, for his lust of the intense Chicago street life.
Ca$his reluctantly decided to com back to California, and that was the best decision he feels he ever made. Then tragedy struck again the following year in California, when Monique was murdered.
Cashis, already known for his over agressive actions, and bi-polar mania, sunk into depression. All this before his 19th birthday. After several more arrests and growing speculation of crminal actions,
Ca$his finally was arrested and convicted for 6 robberies. After a 1 year sentence,
Ca$his was the father of another baby girl, Jasmine, and immediately upon release had another baby girl, Ramoni,on the way.
Ca$his's mother was told by OCPD, that they would correct the Ramone Johnson problem by force, if he was seen in any Central or South County areas. There was a undisclosed discussion, resulting in
Ca$his's mom, fearing for her son's life, at the discretion of law enforcement. She advised
Ca$his to remain in Anaheim, which
Ca$his willfully did, and in 1 years time from his jail release, he was 20 years old with 5 children. Though pursuing his music career, and recieving several offers in search of signing him,
Ca$his chose to continue pursuing his illegal activities and destructive lifestyle. After all of
Ramone Johnson's friends eventually were deceased, relocated or incarcerated,
Ca$his was forced to become a man, and pursue his true calling, music. After garnering underground success with
The Renegade Gangsta Group, consisting of
Ca$his and best friend/producer
Ricky "Rikanatti" Parham, things turned around for
Ca$his.
In 2006, 25 year old
Ca$his was found by
Dart Parker, Director of A&R at
Shady Records. And once
Eminem heard
Ca$his's first line, he was instantly flown to record in NYC's infamous
Quad Studios, for the in studio test.
Ca$his did 8 records in 4 hours, and was immediately flown to Detroit to be coronated by
King Mathers. After releasing a series of successful mixtapes (including one that was recorded while
Cashis was on bail awaiting trial for a crime he was eventually sent to jail for) and becoming the most popular O.C. MC, gutter-style rapper
Cashis was first heard across radio airwaves to mainstream worldwide on the single "
You Don't Know" on
Eminem's
Shady Records/Interscope multi platinum release
The Re Up.
Shady Records released his first single, "
Talkin' All That," shortly after. In September 2006 the mixtape
Bogish Boy (produced by
Rikanatti and mixed by
DJ Arkane) hit streets, followed by several more top rated mixtapes and the critically acclaimed limited edition E.P.
The County Hound ( an ode to Cook County and Orange which
Ca$his reps equally and has tatted on his hands).
County Hound reached #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. And became the highest selling EP in
Shady history. Though it was only supposed to be a buzz project, to get a few thousand fans,
Ca$his E.P. sold 50k units, and was reprinted twice in order to meet demand.
Ca$his first solo video "
Lac Motion" gained MTV airplay, with no promotion, which prepared the way for
Ca$his solo Lp
Loose Cannon, due out in 4th quarter 08 (due to
Ca$his recent legal problems).
In the meantime
Ca$his has done numerous features including artists such as

Ca$his is on his 3rd major release in 2 years, now having 10 children,
Ca$his's future is extremely bright. Being the underboss of
Shady records, The enforcer of
Shady Records, has brought a new, no nonsense image to
Shady Records, adding to legacy of Hip Hop Mogul
Eminem.
Ca$his is said to have the total package, an image great for marketing, A strong female and urban fanbase, with crossover potential.
Marshall Mathers,
Paul Rosenberg and
Dart Parker have all been quoted in saying that
Ca$his is the primary focus and star of
Shady Records. As long as he keeps his legal issues to an extreme minimum, Industry insiders predict that
Shady Records has hit the jackpot again, with this Young Ferocious MC.
