50 Cent To Re-Record Peter Andre’s “Mysterious Girl”
by Jumbo | March 6th, 2010
50 Cent has claimed reality star Peter Andre‘s single “Mysterious Girl” is as popular as “YMCA“. The rapper said he was keen to re-record the 1995 song because Andre had enjoyed so much success with it in the past.
“It’s like YMCA, one of those songs everybody knows,” 50 Cent said. “Girls like it and it gets them up dancing. It makes people feel happy, even if it is never going to win a Grammy.”
The rap-star told The Sun that he was confident that a collaboration could also make Andre a big name in America.
“Pete seems like a nice guy and maybe, with the right remix, we can get him a #1 in the US as well as Europe this time.”
But 50 Cent added that if the pair were to remix the song then he would replace the vocal part sung in the original by rapper Bubbler Ranx.
