50 Cent Goes Gold With BISD!
by Jumbo | January 28th, 2010
50 Cent has another Gold certified album in his hands: Before I Self Destruct! The record was recently certified Gold by the RIAA due to sales in excess of 500,000 copies.
Led by the single “Baby By Me,” 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” closed out a strong decade of hit albums and singles for 50 Cent including the 2003 debut “Get Rich or Die Tryin” and “The Massacre” (2005).
The album is also the third highest selling disc of 2009, behind Eminem‘s Relapse and Jay-Z‘s The Blueprint 3.

I like the layout of your blog and I’m going to do the same thing for mine. Do you have any tips? Please PM ME on yahoo @ AmandaLovesYou702 6 5 8
See wat i mean…
When they certify an album Gold, is that just the actual number of records sold in stores? I imagine most people buy full or near full albums through itunes and shit now. The artists are still making a lot of money of digital downloads. Not all songs you get offline are bootleg…
I’m actually surprised BISD reached gold. The alum was completely garbage and the only good song was the one with Eminem. Curtis was so much better and 50 disappointed me with this shit.
Cant ask for too much more than that as far as internet downloads are concerned! He done well in my opinion! It is a good record I think it’s better than Curtis… (I’m waitin for some fucker to object to me now!)
Congrats, i’m really surprised that hip-hop sales are fucked up now!!didn’t fab sell more than 500k!!or officer ricky(i hate him)….i mean there are alot of people that got solid numbers!!
